Karmo said he’ll still take official visits, although he’s ‘proudly committed’ to the Gophers.

Emmanuel Karmo

Emmanuel Karmo, the highly regarded recruit for Minnesota’s 2025 class, recently announced on social media his intention to proceed with scheduled official visits to three other Big Ten programs despite his commitment to the Gophers. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Karmo shared his upcoming visit schedule, highlighting visits to Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Nebraska alongside his commitment to Minnesota.

He emphasized the importance of exploring all options to ensure the best decision for his future. Despite committing to the U on April 12, Karmo, a linebacker from Robbinsdale Cooper, had previously considered offers from various Division I schools, ultimately narrowing down his choices to a top seven which included Wisconsin, Oregon, Penn State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Southern California, and Nebraska.

Despite his commitment to Minnesota, Karmo intends to visit three of these programs to further evaluate his options.
