Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has dazzled audiences in his initial two seasons with the Dolphins, demonstrating remarkable skill on the field. Tyreek Hill reveals where he wants to finish NFL career

“I have a strong desire to retire in Miami, although we’re all aware of the unpredictable nature of the NFL and how careers unfold. Miami holds a special place for me; it’s a fantastic city. I have immense affection for my team, my teammates, our head coach, and the general manager. So, in essence, consider this my plea: ‘Sign me.’ My attachment to everyone here is so deep that I envision staying in Miami indefinitely. Please, keep me here.”

Hill still has three years remaining on his present contract, having inked a four-year, $120 million extension in 2022. However, starting in 2025, there’s no guaranteed money left. Furthermore, in the final year of his contract, expiring after the 2026 season, he’s slated for a base salary of $43.9 million and carries a hefty $56.3 million salary cap hit. It’s improbable he’ll play under those terms, necessitating some sort of negotiation. Miami might reassess the situation as early as next year.

Nevertheless, Hill’s on-field performance justifies every cent. Across the past couple of seasons, he’s amassed an impressive 238 receptions for 3,509 yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging more than 100 yards per game.

To secure another raise and reclaim his title as the league’s highest-paid wide receiver, surpassing A.J. Brown of the Eagles, Hill must maintain his high level of play. Nonetheless, he appears confident he’ll surpass the expectations of his current contract.

“I intend to keep utilizing these legs until they no longer function,” Hill remarked.

For the time being, Hill plans to continue wreaking havoc on opposing secondaries for many seasons ahead. However, whether all of those seasons will be spent with the Dolphins remains to be seen.
