With the ongoing efforts to strengthen their receiving lineup following the departure of star player Stefon Diggs and the loss of Gabe Davis in free agency, Claypool has an opportunity to make a significant contribution within a restructured unit. The Bills have enlisted the talents of Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Quintez Cephus, and utilized their top pick (33rd) to secure Florida State WR Keon Coleman.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 238 pounds, Claypool boasts a career tally of over 2,000 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns since joining the league. Hailing from Abbotsford, B.C., Claypool was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he notably set the franchise record in Week 5 with a remarkable four-touchdown performance.

During his tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars spanning seven seasons, Smoot has showcased his skills in 99 games, with 17 of those as starts. His impressive stats include 23.5 sacks, 133 total tackles, 64 quarterback hits, 27 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, five passes defended, and two fumble recoveries. He now has the opportunity to vie for a position behind Von Miller and Greg Rousseau.

Jones, having played for three different teams over nine NFL seasons, boasts 13 career interceptions, five of which resulted in touchdowns. His overall tally stands at 731 tackles and 12 sacks, with five seasons recording at least 100 tackles.
