Reports: Another Auburn star to enter the transfer portal

After spending two seasons with the Tigers, senior wide receiver Koy Moore from Auburn is anticipated to join the transfer portal. Despite appearing in 10 games last season, Moore’s performance notably declined compared to the previous year, with only three catches for 24 yards. He didn’t participate in Auburn’s spring game on April 6 due to minor injuries sustained during spring camp, along with several other wide receivers.

Prior to joining Auburn, Moore began his collegiate journey at LSU, where he accumulated 27 receptions for 248 yards over two seasons. With Auburn recently securing a notable wide receiver class and adding several transfer receivers, Moore is poised to transfer for the second time in his career. If Moore proceeds with the transfer process and departs from Auburn, the team’s wide receiver lineup will include a mix of experienced transfers like senior KeAndre Lambert-Smith from Penn State and senior Robert Lewis from Georgia State, alongside returning players such as junior Camden Brown and sophomore Caleb Burton, as well as promising freshmen like Cam Coleman and Bryce Cain. Additionally, incoming summer enrollees Malcolm Simmons and Perry Thompson will further strengthen the wide receiver corps for Auburn.
