Wigan Warriors star has potential to go down as club legend, insists head coach

Bevan French, the superstar player, is poised to achieve legendary status with the Wigan Warriors as he gets ready for his 100th appearance for the club.

His head coach has praised Bevan French, the reigning Man of Steel, ahead of his upcoming 100th club appearance against Hull KR, suggesting that French could indeed become a Wigan Warriors legend.

The 28-year-old stand-off or full-back has recently extended his commitment to the DW Stadium, securing his future until at least the end of the 2028 season. This long-term agreement would see him play nearly 10 full seasons in the cherry and white of Wigan Warriors, having made the transition from the NRL midway through 2019.
