BREAKING: Major Blue-Blood Loses Another Former 5-Star To Transfer Portal

Former highly-touted recruit has decided to enter the transfer portal, opting to depart from Duke after just one season in Durham. Stewart had limited playing time under head coach John Scheyer, averaging 2.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game. His decision to leave the Blue Devils likely stems from a desire to find a more suitable role where he can thrive.

Stewart’s departure adds to the exodus from Duke this offseason, with seven players, including several top prospects, entering the transfer portal. Despite Duke’s push to the Elite 8 in 2024, they were unable to overcome the dominant NC State Wolfpack.

Duke fans might initially feel a sense of concern, but upon closer examination of next season’s roster, they’ll likely find reassurance. The Blue Devils are set to welcome the top-ranked recruiting class in the country, led by standout forward Cooper Flagg.

Despite the successes of the 2024 Blue Devils in March Madness, Coach Scheyer remains proactive in refining the team’s roster to align with his strategic vision, making adjustments as necessary.
