Stefon Diggs’ social media activity sparks outrage from Bills Mafia

Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver for the Houston Texans, is causing some friction with his previous fan base. On Tuesday, Diggs liked a post on X that characterized Buffalo Bills fans as the “worst fanbase” and “bitter.” His online activity didn’t escape attention for long.

“The post stated, ‘Bills lowkey got the worse [sic] fanbase y’all bitter asf in the comments.’ ‘asf’ stands for ‘as f–k,’ indicating Diggs was implying that Bills fans were notably negative and bitter.

This post came after Diggs expressed condolences for former Pro Bowl cornerback Vontae Davis, who tragically passed away earlier in the month. Some Bills fans responded negatively to Diggs’ tribute post about Davis.”

For some members of Bills Mafia, this seemingly minor social media action carried significant weight. A few expressed strong disapproval of Diggs’ apparent criticism of his former fans, viewing it as disrespectful.

Earlier this month, the Bills traded Diggs to the Texans, marking the end of his tenure in Buffalo. The lead-up to his departure was marked by some drama.

During his successful four-year stint with the Bills, Diggs earned Pro Bowl honors and consistently surpassed 1,000 receiving yards each season. However, in the 2023 season, after starting with impressive performances, Diggs didn’t achieve a single 100-yard game for the remainder of the season.

There were reports of a confrontation between Diggs and Josh Allen early in the season, which may have contributed to the wide receiver’s exit from the team.
