Milwaukee Brewers Star Prospect Jeferson Quero Is Out for the 2024 Season

Regrettably, Quero’s debut season in Triple-A was cut short abruptly. Following a walk in his initial plate appearance with the Nashville Sounds, Quero sustained a shoulder injury while diving back to first base during a pick-off attempt. Consequently, he had to exit the game.

On Wednesday afternoon, the team disclosed that Quero has a torn labrum, necessitating a nine-month recovery period, effectively terminating his 2024 season before it commenced.

There were high hopes for Quero to receive his inaugural call-up to the Majors at some stage during this season.
