Four-star inside linebacker Anthony Davis from Loganville, Georgia, is garnering attention from numerous national programs following his standout sophomore year. Playing for Grayson High School, Davis recorded impressive stats including 67 tackles, six tackles for loss, nine hurries, and 3.5 sacks, establishing himself as a key player for one of Georgia’s top high school teams. Ranked as the No. 293 prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings, Davis holds offers from 24 schools, with notable mentions such as Auburn, Colorado, Michigan, Oregon, and Tennessee.
Davis has already made multiple trips to Knoxville, Tennessee, during his first two seasons of high school football, and he’s scheduled to visit again next week on Monday, April 1st. This visit will mark his first time on campus with new linebackers coach William Inge, signifying an important milestone in his relationship with the Volunteers.
Although there’s still some time before Davis makes his college decision, Tennessee has been actively involved in his recruitment from early on. Their early interest and efforts in recruiting him could potentially work in their favor as his decision-making process progresses.
