Cuonzo Martin is said to be in discussions to rejoin Missouri State as the head coach of the men’s basketball team, as per reports. ESPN’s Pete Thamel indicates that Martin and Missouri State are currently in negotiations for an agreement.

Martin initially began his tenure as head coach at MSU in 2008 before moving on to the University of Tennessee for three years. Following his stint at Tennessee, he served as head coach at the University of California-Berkeley from 2014 to 2017, eventually accepting the same position at the University of Missouri-Columbia. After a five-season tenure at Missouri, Martin and the Tigers parted ways in 2022. Specific details regarding Martin’s potential return to Missouri State have not been disclosed at this time.
