Breaking News: LSU’s Kim Mulkey has landed a 6-foot-5 transfer from a rival SEC program

Kim Mulkey, the head coach of LSU’s women’s basketball team, secured a transfer from Arkansas as Jersey Wolfenbarger, a guard/forward, revealed on Monday her decision to join the LSU program. Standing at 6-foot-5, Wolfenbarger made her commitment to LSU public via an Instagram post.

The former McDonald’s All-American opted to sit out the 2023-24 season after having significant playing time with the Razorbacks in the previous two seasons. In her freshman year, the Arkansas native averaged 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 30 games, earning recognition on the SEC All-Freshman team. During her sophomore campaign, Wolfenbarger posted averages of 3.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Upon joining the Tigers, she will have two years of eligibility remaining.
