Missouri, facing a pivotal offseason after a challenging 0-18 SEC regular season and early tournament exit, sees Crews as a valuable addition to bolster their roster. With key players like Sean East II departing due to eligibility constraints, the Tigers are also losing notable contributors Nick Honor, Noah Carter, and Connor Vanover. Despite these losses, Missouri anticipates significant reinforcements with the arrival of the nation’s fourth-ranked recruiting class, comprising five freshmen.

Crews, hailing from Hilliard, Florida, is expected to provide versatility on the court, capable of playing positions two through four for Missouri. While schools like Kansas, Kansas State, and Arkansas have shown interest, Crews’ decision reflects his commitment to the Tigers. Having previously showcased his talent at North Florida and Daytona State College, Crews brings experience and skill to MU’s lineup.

Looking ahead, Missouri remains active in the transfer portal, targeting a center and a point guard to address critical needs. The partnership between The Star and the Columbia Daily Tribune ensures comprehensive coverage of Missouri Tigers athletics.
