The Detroit Lions have officially announced the signing of unrestricted free agent guard Kevin Zeitler. Details of the contract were not disclosed.

Zeitler joins Detroit after a three-season stint (2021-2023) with the Baltimore Ravens, during which he started all 47 games he played. His impressive performance earned him his first Pro Bowl selection following the 2023 season.

Originally drafted in the first round (27th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012 out of Wisconsin, Zeitler has accumulated valuable experience throughout his NFL career. He has played for various teams, including the Bengals (2012-2016), Cleveland Browns (2017-2018), New York Giants (2019-2020), and most recently, the Ravens. In total, he has appeared in 182 career games, starting 181 of them, and has also started seven postseason games.
