Good News: Three standout Badgers are named to US National Team training camp

Three Wisconsin Badgers have been selected to train with the US Women’s national volleyball team this spring. Sarah Franklin, Carter Booth, and Devyn Robinson, all standout players from Wisconsin, have been granted the opportunity to participate in the USA Volleyball Spring Training Camp in Anaheim, California, under the guidance of Head Coach Karch Kirly.

This week-long camp, running from March 10th to 16th, will culminate in a Red-Blue scrimmage scheduled for 9:30 a.m. PT on Saturday.

Each of these Badgers has prior experience with Team USA. Booth is attending her fourth U.S. training camp, having previously earned a gold medal with the 2019 Girls U18 National Team at the FIVB World Championships, alongside teammates Devyn Robinson and CC Crawford. Robinson has been named to the 2020 U.S. Collegiate National Team – Gold, while this marks Franklin’s second appearance with the U.S. National Training team.

All three of them have been recognized with All-Big Ten first team honors this past season, with Franklin receiving the additional accolade of being named the AVCA National Player of the Year for her exceptional performance throughout the season. Congratulations to all three Badgers on this remarkable achievement!
