Welcome to the Hammer: Tiger-Cats sign key player to bolster squad depth

During the offseason, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have been revamping their team in preparation for the 2024 season, focusing on adding younger talent and bolstering key positions. This strategy persists with the recent signing of American quarterback Harrison Frost, who joins an already diverse quarterback lineup, including CFL veteran Bo Levi Mitchell, rising star Taylor Powell, and former BC Lions backup Kevin Thomson.

Frost, a 6’1” quarterback weighing 194 pounds, hails from Kennesaw, Georgia, and brings a varied collegiate football background to the Tiger-Cats. Beginning his career at Mercer University, Frost then transferred to the University of West Georgia, where he demonstrated significant potential with impressive stats over two seasons. Despite a brief stint with the Seattle Sea Dragons in the XFL, Frost now looks to make his mark in the CFL with the Tiger-Cats.

His decision to pursue a professional football career over coaching at the NCAA FBS level indicates his determination to succeed on the field. With his track record of playmaking abilities and leadership, Frost arrives in Hamilton eager to contribute to the team’s success.
