Toronto Argonauts reportedly confirm the signing of another top star

The Toronto Argonauts have added American offensive lineman Nick Amoah to their roster for the upcoming training camp.

Amoah, standing at six-foot-three and weighing 285 pounds, played for six years at the University of California, Davis. During his time with the Aggies, he participated in 45 games and served as the starting left tackle for three seasons, exhibiting impressive performance metrics. According to Pro Football Focus, he only allowed three sacks and 36 total pressures across 1,200 pass blocking snaps.

In his senior year of 2022, Amoah received first-team All-Big Sky recognition and was awarded second-team FCS All-American honors by the Associated Press. Despite his achievements, he went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft and later joined the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.

The Toronto Argonauts are set to kick off their 2024 regular season on Sunday, June 9, hosting the B.C. Lions at BMO Field.
