LSU Football: Tigers Hosting No. 5 WR In America For Visit

The LSU football staff is hard at work on the recruiting front, gearing up for a packed schedule of visits this spring. March 8th looms as a crucial weekend, with LSU set to welcome numerous top prospects for both the 2025 and 2026 cycles. Among them, Caleb Cunningham, ranked as the second-best wide receiver in the nation, has confirmed his visit to Baton Rouge, joining a cohort of elite recruits. Cunningham, hailing from Mississippi, had a positive experience during a previous visit and is eager to return.

Accompanying him will be Jamie Ffrench, the fifth-ranked wide receiver in the country, who, after reconsidering his commitment to Alabama, is exploring his options. Ffrench, having caught the attention of LSU’s Cortez Hankton, is set to visit LSU on March 8-9, adding to the excitement of the weekend.

This influx of talent underscores LSU’s focus on bolstering its wide receiver corps, a theme that extends to future events such as the Spring Game on April 12, where the Tigers will host Kaliq Lockett, the third-ranked wideout nationally. With commitments already secured from top talents like Dakorien Moore, LSU is aiming to further strengthen its position as a destination for elite prospects.

Speaking of Moore, his commitment stands as a significant win for LSU, as they fend off competition from other top programs. Alongside Cunningham and Lockett, Moore highlights LSU’s appeal to top-tier talent eyeing official visits in the coming months.

In the broader scope, LSU boasts the top-ranked 2025 class in the nation, led by standout players like Bryce Underwood, Harlem Berry, and Dakorien Moore. The Tigers are now targeting Micah DeBose, the premier interior offensive lineman, as they aim to fortify their roster further.
