Spiegelman emphasized the enduring presence of Texas and Oklahoma in Fasusi’s recruitment, noting that both teams have been integral from the outset. Fasusi has frequented visits to both universities more than any others, attending their game days last fall, with plans for further visits in 2024.

In the end, the pivotal factor often boils down to the relationships built with positional coaches. Fasusi finds himself in the fortunate position of having two highly esteemed assistants to consider. Oklahoma’s offensive line coach, Bill Bedenbaugh, carries a legendary status in his role, while Texas’s offensive coordinator and line coach, Kyle Flood, also boasts an impressive pedigree.

Spiegelman anticipates that when the dust settles, the competition will primarily revolve around Oklahoma and Texas, with Kyle Flood and Bill Bedenbaugh leading the charge in a head-to-head showdown for one of the nation’s top offensive tackles.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Fasusi holds the impressive title of being the second-ranked offensive tackle in the 2025 class and is also recognized as the 15th best recruit overall.
