Breaking News: Vikings Announce 2 Major Additions

The Minnesota Vikings have made two new additions to their coaching staff for the 2024 season. Shaun Sarrett, previously the assistant offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Chargers for three seasons, has been named the assistant offensive line coach for the Vikings. With over twenty years of coaching experience across various levels, Sarrett joins Head Coach Kevin O’Connell’s team. During his tenure with the Chargers, Sarrett played a pivotal role in their offensive success, particularly in passing offense where the team ranked in the NFL’s top three for two consecutive seasons. He also contributed to the development of notable players like Corey Linsley and Rashawn Slater, both achieving All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors during his coaching tenure.

Henry Schneider IV, coming from a five-year stint with the Las Vegas Raiders, brings eight years of NFL experience to the Vikings as the assistant to the head coach. In Las Vegas, Schneider held various roles within football operations, showcasing his expertise in managing coaching operations and assisting with administrative tasks for the head coach. Prior to his time with the Raiders, Schneider gained experience with the Seattle Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins, building upon his foundation from the University of Alabama where he worked closely with the football program under Nick Saban.
