Rangers reportedly confirm the signing of another star

The Rangers have extended forward Jonny Brodzinski’s contract for two years, as announced by president and GM Chris Drury on Wednesday. Brodzinski has become a significant contributor to the team’s success this season, playing a pivotal role on the ice. With four goals, 11 assists, and a plus-four rating in 37 games, he has notably centered the third line alongside Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko. While Brodzinski has been part of the Rangers since the 2020-21 season, he has seen considerably more playing time in the current season. Prior to joining the Rangers, Brodzinski had stints with the Los Angeles Kings for three seasons and the San Jose Sharks for one season. At 30 years old, he is currently earning $775,000 this season, although the specifics of his new contract have not been disclosed.
