Breaking News: Just In Avalanche place Another player on waivers

The Colorado Avalanche have opted to expose a former Arizona Coyotes player to the other 31 teams for potential acquisition. As per reports from various NHL insiders on X (formerly known as Twitter), goaltender Ivan Prosvetov has been placed on waivers.

Prosvetov was initially selected by the Coyotes in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft. During his tenure with Arizona, spanning three seasons, he posted a record of 4-6-1, with a goals-against average of 4.07 and a save percentage of .871.On October 8, Prosvetov was placed on waivers by the Coyotes before being claimed by the Colorado Avalanche the following day.

In his transition to the “Mile High City,” Prosvetov participated in 11 games, amassing a record of 4-3-1, with a save percentage of .895 and a 3.16 goals-against average.Now, he finds himself in a similar situation to where he was a few months ago, seeking another opportunity in the NHL. If no other team claims him off waivers, Prosvetov will be assigned to the AHL with the Colorado Eagles, the affiliate team of the Avalanche.
